Local industrial safeguarding systems manufacturer, ZONE Safety Systems, has signed on Industrial automation and controls distributor, Inaco Automation Controls, to distribute its safe-T-zone standard range of modular perimeter safety guarding solutions in Australia.
ZONE Safety Systems was the “pioneer” of off-the-shelf mechanical safeguarding systems in Australia, according to an announcement from Inaco.
ZONE Safety Systems’ solution was designed to provide manufacturers with a product that allows “unprecedented levels of flexibility and ease of installation whilst fully complying with Australian Safety Standards,” the announcement said.
Under the strategic agreement, Inaco will distribute ZONE’S safe-T-zone standard range of modular perimeter safety guarding and individually engineered and configured guarding solutions.
According to Inaco executive general manager, Gary Pelham, Inaco has been ramping-up its control solutions offerings.
“INACO has rapidly grown its market share of safety products and services including control solutions, relays, interlock switches, identification and safety consulting services,” he said.
“We see mechanical safety guarding as an excellent complimentary fit to expand our range. ZONE provides Inaco the opportunity to partner with the clear market leader. Our goal is to provide our customers with the broadest safety product and services range available in the Australian market.”
According to ZONE Safety Systems managing director, Peter Denniston, the partnership will allow ZONE to access a wider market for industrial control and safety, through Inaco’s distribution model.
“With this partnership Inaco will be able to offer a greater range of not only standard but also customised safety guarding solutions [from ZONE]. Together with Inaco’s range of safety products, customers can be provided with tailored solutions that not only meets’ their own operational needs but also exceeds the Australian safety standards,” he said.
