Yokogawa Australia donated more than $45,000 worth of process control instrumentation to universities and TAFE colleges in Australia and New Zealand this year to assist in the training of the next generation of instrumentation technicians and engineers.
RMIT in Victoria, Wagga Wagga TAFE in New South Wales, Challenger TAFE in Western Australia and Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology in New Zealand all received instruments from Yokogawa during the year.
“We see donations of this kind as an essential part of our corporate citizenship,” said Yokogawa Australia’s sales and marketing director, Russell Palmer.
“It’s important that apprentices and engineering students have access to current technology so that they are abreast of the latest advancements in instrumentation.”
