The 2008 Emerson Exchange Conference will kick off on Monday 29th October in Washington DC, with delegates from around the world gathering to attend courses, management sessions and industry forums.

Emerson end-users will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, best practices, and proven solutions with the people behind one of the leading companies in process industry, in a week-long program of industry forums, workshops, short courses, and management sessions run by both end-users and Emerson technicians.

Five wireless installations from Australia will be showcased at the event, along with fifteen from around the world. Emerson PlantWeb demonstrations will also be held.

The conference will showcase over 300 paper presentations, including 26 on the latest wireless technology, which look at best practices on project implementation and operational improvement from the leaders in Emerson end-user organisations, and industry experts and specialists from Emerson Process Management companies.

There will also be nine industry forums, including in-depth information about the latest trends in Australia and New Zealand, along with a session on ‘future vision’ presented by two major hydrocarbon production companies from the US.
