Wonderware's InduSoft’s Web Studio software has been announced as the Control Engineering 2016 Engineers’ Choice Awards winner for the Software – HMI software category in the US.
The award winning InduSoft Web Studio 8.0 provides a variety of tools to simplify the creation of HMI and SCADA applications while preparing industry for the future.
The latest version of the software adds a new runtime, called IoTView, compatible with Linux and VxWorks operating systems, adding to the current runtime editions, including InduSoft Web Studio, EmbeddedView, and CEView. This provides IoT scalability to design solutions for deployment on any platform.
The Studio Mobile Access adds to the ease of deployment on smart devices by conforming to the HTML5 standard. Easy integration to the latest web, cloud, and mobility technologies allows users to create screens, widgets, animated graphics and controls that can be displayed, monitored and controlled by remote devices.
The software also includes native redundancy for OPC UA and OPC XML/DA interfaces, as well as Collaboration Server for built-in revision control and application lifecycle management
This comprehensive development and runtime HMI/SCADA software solution provides over 240 built-in communication drivers for automatic connection to a wide variety of PLCs and controllers without the need for custom code. The software includes all the tools users need to develop, deploy and present HMI graphics, alarms, trends, reports, recipes, and historian and database data.
