Wireless exhibitions and training

The Institute of Instrumentation Control and Automation (IICA) is planning 15 Table Top Exhibitions and up to eight Symposia in various locations throughout Australia during 2009, the latter revolving around the topic: industrial wireless integration.

Table Top Exhibitions are being held in all capital cities and numerous regional areas around the country. The Table Tops have been well-attended in the past, and they are a cost effective way for industry members to display their products and/or services, all at a ‘one stop shop’ for the control and automation industry, says the company.

The main topic for the symposia will be ‘industrial wireless integration’, with presentations by specialists in this field. This topic will be presented in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, with possible presentations also in regional areas.

An additional symposium will be held in Perth with the topic of ‘instrumentation in chemical process in WA’.

These topics should attract many interested delegates and sponsorship opportunities are available. The Table Tops and Symposia fill very quickly with most events being sold out in previous years, so delegates should book quickly to avoid disappointment, says IICA.

A booking form can be downloaded from the IICA website at www.iica.org.au

Any queries can be forwarded to Melissa Greco, Events Co-ordinator, ph: 03 9326 9851 or events@iica.org.au

A range of ISA one day Training Courses will be run during 2009 following on from the success of the ‘FG15C Instrumentation Symbols & Diagrams’ course. Likely subjects will be ‘Industrial Wireless Systems’ and ‘Ethernet & TCP/IP on the Plant Floor’, among others.
