Western Sydney Manufacturing Week to help build competitive edge

Western Sydney Manufacturing Week will take place from 18th to 22nd May in Castel Hill, offering a range of free seminars, site visits and numerous networking opportunities for attendees.

Western Sydney Manufacturing Week highlights the activities of successful leading-edge companies, and reveals what other companies can do to survive the current economic conditions and develop new business opportunities.

Over 20 workshops and seminars are planned for Western Sydney Manufacturing Week. The highlight is the Leaders Forum on 18 May at Castle Grand, Castle Hill. The forum includes an industry panel discussion featuring leading Australian industry and Government speakers.

On 21st May come along to the Manufacturing Masters breakfast function hosted by the CEO Institute. Speakers look at positive opportunities arising from the global financial crisis. The keynote speaker is business trainer, consultant and humorist John Lees.

Western Sydney Manufacturing Week features seven site visits to manufacturing companies operating in Western Sydney. Visitors gain an insight into the operations which make these companies leaders in their field.

Women manufacturers are invited to the popular Women in Manufacturing Lunch on 19th May. Prominent women business leaders share their thoughts about their careers in manufacturing.

Learn what a supply chain is and how improvements in a supply chain can increase profitability, remove stress and improve customer satisfaction at the Supply Chain and Logistics event on 19 May.
