Western Australia desalination plants to run at full capacity

According to a report in The West Australian, WA's monopoly water provider will have to run its desalination plants at full capacity and could take its maximum allocation from Perth's fragile aquifers to stop the city running out of drinking supplies.

Two of the State's top water experts have warned that with Perth's dams already of limited use, the Water Corporation could be forced to rely on ground and desalinated water until recycling became viable.
