Yokogawa Australia has entered into a distribution agreement with Forney
Corporation of Addison, Texas to distribute Forney’s line of combustion
products for electric power generation, chemical processing and cement
industries in Australia.
Forney has been supplying burner management and safety systems,
igniters, flame detectors, dampers and controls for boilers for large process
plants since 1927. Yokogawa was identified by Forney as the ideal partner in
Australia due to their strong presence in the thermal coal electricity
generation market as well as the cement industries.
Forney’s Regional Sales Manager for the Pacific Rim, Mr Chris Ward
commented that they were very pleased to have a professional and experienced
distributor partner like Yokogawa on board. He explained that Yokogawa provides
Forney with great reach into the power and cement industry across Australia.
Additionally, with Yokogawa having more than 50 service people on the road,
Forney is assured of reliable product support for their customers.

to the products and services offered by Yokogawa to the electrical generation
industry.
