Siemens has named Tasmanian Process Instruments (TPI) as the sole Authorised Reseller of Siemens Automation, Drive Technology and Process Instrumentation in Tasmania.
TPI will now provide inventory assistance, pre- and post-sale technical support and deliver a personalised and complete service across multiple technology platforms for Siemens customers, according to Siemens.
“This expansion of TPI’s portfolio gives the local industrial and manufacturing market the ability to approach one reseller for all their Siemens products and allows us to concentrate our support efforts via a single reselling channel,” said Siemens channel program manager, Peter Dixon.
Siemens’ previous association with TPI was limited to the supply of process instrumentation products. The new contract will allow TPI to stock a greater number of Siemens products and offer a faster, more efficient service for local installation, Siemens said.
