Victorian businesses can now apply for a share of $1.5 million in grants to install electric vehicle charging stations, helping the transition to using zero emissions vehicles.

After developing the technology to build longer lasting, greener, more efficient, more affordable solar and EV batteries, Zero Emissions Developments (ZED) is seeking $30 million in private investment to build a manufacturing plant that will produce them. 

Canberrans looking to help reduce emissions and inspire change can now apply for a Community Zero Emissions Grant, with $150,000 available to community groups and individuals. 

The ACT government is supporting workers to gain the skills they’ll need in a zero-emissions future as part of the transition to cleaner public transport with future-focused training.

Kinetic, a Melbourne-based company that operates SkyBus and runs local bus routes across Australia and New Zealand, has been awarded a $2.3 billion contract to help transition Victoria’s bus fleet to zero-emissions.
