Soligie is moving into the volume production of printed sensors. The company’s current program encompasses pressure and temperature sensors as well as strain-gauges, biomedical sensors and electrodes.
Prototypes are currently under evaluation and will be considered for volume production in 2011 and 2012.
Printed electronics offers a unique value proposition for sensor-based products that can benefit from thin and flexible formats, or for arrays of sensors which are matrixed over a wide-area.
Soligie offers the option to integrate other printed components along with the printed sensors. Multiple, integrated and printed components on a single substrate remains a goal for the printed electronics industry.
With continuous, roll to roll production, Soligie manufactures high volumes of sensors and is currently expanding its equipment set to better meet the needs of low to mid volume production orders.
