World leading Swiss manufacturer Sensirion AG has introduced new sensors
for the smart energy market.
Designed to make gas boilers more comfortable and environmentally sound,
Sensirion’s completely calibrated and temperature compensated sensors and
sensor solutions ensure precise and reliable measurement of the air mass to a
combustion chamber. In addition to higher boiler efficiency, the sensors also
enable a significant increase in the modulation ratio, enhancing the comfort levels
and lifespan of the boiler.
Sensirion’s sensor solutions for mass flow measurement can be installed
in any boiler thanks to their compact size and flexible modification options. The
proven sensors guarantee a wide dynamic control range, eliminate zero point drift,
and offer excellent repeatability and accuracy as well as the option of certified
intrinsic safety.
Sensirion’s sensor solutions are also available for the measurement of
temperature and relative humidity, as well as natural gas with gas quality
compensation.
Featuring the patented CMOSens technology, in which the sensor component
and the evaluation circuit are integrated on a single CMOS microchip, Sensirion’s
solutions, in conjunction with a specially developed sensor packaging, deliver a
more cost-effective system with significantly higher precision and
repeatability, representing a quantum leap in mass flow and differential
pressure measurement.
