IFS has made two new additions to its sales team — Maria Capria will now take the role as southern region sales manager while Chris Moyle will now be northern region sales manager, both reporting to sales director Charles Rignall.
IFS, the Global Enterprise Applications Company responsible for Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), has a worldwide customer base and is committed to growing its presence in the Asia Pacific region, says the company.
Capria, Moyle and Rignall will now be responsible for implementing the IFS sales strategy in Australia.
Moyle joins IFS from Hewlett Packard where he worked as a business development manager. Moyle has worked in sales and business development roles for a number of large IT vendors over the past eight years. He is based in Melbourne and will be responsible for the states of Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.
Prior to his career in the IT industry, Moyle spent 10 years working for companies in the defence, aerospace and engineering sectors including Siemens Defence and Lockheed Martin.
“I’m really pleased to be joining IFS at such an exciting time. They have some fantastic customers here in Australia and New Zealand, but there are many more companies that could benefit from their expertise in providing enterprise applications that are easy to implement, cheaper to run and faster to upgrade,” he said.
Capria joins IFS bringing sales and business experience from the United States, New Zealand and Australia. She has held business development and management roles in companies including IBM, Progress Software, Solution 6, Baltimore Technologies and Networks Group.
She is based in Sydney and will be responsible for the states of New South Wales and Queensland.
“Many companies are continuing to struggle with large, expensive and restrictive IT systems so I’m looking forward to showing them that there is another way. IFS uses open standards giving companies the freedom to mix technologies from different vendors to gain the most cost-effective solution. This is incredibly appealing and can make a significant difference to their bottom line,” she said.
IFS currently has customers in Australia and New Zealand from a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, asset management, aerospace and defence. High profile customers include Jet Turbine Services, a joint venture between Qantas Airways and Lufthansa Technik; Globus, a leader in the food packaging industry; and Siemens Transport.
IFS managing director for Australia and New Zealand, Rob Stummer, said:
“We are very pleased to welcome Chris and Maria to our growing team. Both have a very strong track record in the IT industry and bring experience from the telecoms, automotive, engineering and defence sectors, which are very important markets for IFS.
“I am extremely confident that we now have a strong sales team to challenge the status quo and leverage our global experience, as we continue to gain market share in both Australia and New Zealand.”
