Maxon Motor Australia has extended its range of the popular DCX motors featuring the ground-breaking online configuration and automated production facility.
The small DC servo motors allow the user to directly modify the features of the motor and select various gear head and encoder options making it suitable for electronically controlled automation applications. The selectable range of encoders is now expanded with the addition of the new 3-channel optical 2RMF and SCH sensors. Once the encoder is selected the resolution option is given with selectable counts per turn from 3000 to 5000.
Key features include a wide input voltage range from 4.5 to 30V DC; EIA standard RS422 output signal using an 26C31 driver; low backlash gearhead selectable with the configuration tool; alternatively zero backlash high reduction gear heads can be supplied for use with the 5000cpt to give a 20,000 quad count position capability.
