Sigma Energy Solutions Pty Limited will change its trading name to SigmaMSc after purchasing the business of MSc (Maintenance Systems Consolidated) in August 2006 and having now fully integrated the two businesses into one.
The name change is effective 1st April 2009, and SigmaMSc chief executive, Frank Kraft, says that the name change now brings the “power of two” to SigmaMSc’s marketing and promotional efforts.
“The Trade name ‘SigmaMSc’ reflects the strength of both brands in the market place,” he said.
SigmaMSc now has 30 years of trading under its belt under the old name, providing scientific and environmental services to the power industry and is the premier provider of Predictive Technologies and Services in Australasia.
“We have valued customers in the electricity generation, mining, refining, chemical and other process industries. SigmaMSc continues to provide technology-based products backed up with excellence in product support and training,” Kraft said.
“I have strategically positioned the company to focus on the needs of our customers. SigmaMSc offers a high level of competencies and skills with a total commitment to customer service. I have set the management team the challenge of seeking innovation in all areas of the business. This is what differentiates us from others. We respond to market and customer needs faster and with a greater sense of urgency. We will continue to innovate in three key areas: people, process and technology.”
One of the most exciting initiatives SigmaMSc will introduce this year, according to Kraft, is to address its customers’ needs as emerging emissions and energy reporting and other environmental challenges impact their businesses.
This is a critical issue and SigmaMSc will be there to assist our customers in meeting their future obligations,” he said.
SigmaMSc will be driven by three business verticals each responsible for their own profit and loss. These verticals are: Asset Management Services; Chemistry and Environmental Services; and Technology Products.
The Trading Name change is purely to reflect the company evolution and does not change or alter the legal entity of Sigma Energy Solutions Pty Limited, the company said.
Sigma Energy Solutions Pty Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Alstom Limited.
