The Awards recognised companies in the areas of control and automation, manufacturing software, corporate social responsibility and logistics and supply chain, as well as those in the food and beverage, packaging and pharmaceutical industries.

In the manufacturing software category, award recipients were chosen based on functionality, performance, ease-of-use and integration capability; and those that have delivered enhanced productivity, efficiency and benefits to a broad range of manufacturing customers.

In addition, award recipients were required to demonstrate current new market initiatives and innovations.

“The manufacturing industry continues to play a key role in driving Asia’s growth and competitiveness on the world stage,” said KC Yee, senior vice president and managing director, Asia Pacific, Siemens PLM Software.

“To achieve manufacturing success in today’s competitive environment, companies must understand what their customers want, how they can build it and the speed with which they can get their products to market. A continual focus on innovation is key to winning in the manufacturing industry."
