Schneider Electric has released SCADA Expert Vijeo Citect 2015, a scalable software platform enabling real-time monitoring, efficient management and targeted optimisation of production assets.

Alarm Performance Improvements – Alarm performance, encompassing both display clients and system resource footprint, has been optimised in this release, delivering up to 90% improvement over previous versions.
Extensibility via Microsoft .NET Framework – Interfacing directly with external Microsoft .NET assemblies through the Cicode programming language enables extension of functionality and interoperability by leveraging Microsoft technologies, supporting IT/OT convergence strategies.
Integrated Equipment Graphics – Configuration of projects has been streamlined by enabling the creation of Genies on a Graphics Page directly from the Equipment hierarchy.
Run Vijeo Citect as a Native Windows Service – Automate server operation on hardware start-up and continuous server operation across multiple user logins, enabling the software to run unattended and with no user account required to be logged into the server.
Wonderware Connectivity – The addition of Wonderware products to Schneider Electric’s catalogue of industrial technology solutions has resulted in one of the most comprehensive industrial software portfolios available. Connectivity to Wonderware Historian, Wonderware System Platform and Wonderware SmartGlance is now available to Vijeo Citect and CitectSCADA customers.
