Wieland has upgraded its safety controller Samos PRO COMPACT with the new SP-DIO module, with standard inputs and outputs. Non safety related tasks can now be implemented efficiently and economically using the modules, according to the company.
The SP-DIO modules feature four inputs and four outputs, as well as four configurable inputs and outputs. Each of the maximum eight outputs is able to switch a current of up to 0.5A. The modules are suitable for machine building, mechanical engineering, combustion plants or lift systems.
