Russell Fraser Sales introduces new handheld 3D scanners in Australia

Russell Fraser Sales (RFS) has introduced a new generation of handheld 3D
scanners from Creaform in the Australian market. Creaform’s new portable 3D
handheld scanners were recently launched in Lévis, Canada.

HandySCAN 300 and HandySCAN 700 3D
scanners

HandySCAN 700 handheld scanners are 25 times faster than the previous generation
and 40 per cent more accurate with a volumetric accuracy of 60 micrometres per
metre. Key features of the new 3D handheld scanners include the TRUaccuracy function
ensuring accurate measurements in real-life operating conditions; range of 3D scanning possibilities regardless of part size,
complexity or material; and quick set-up that allows operation in less than two
minutes.

Pipecheck 2.2 software

When used with the HandySCAN 3D scanner, Creaform’s new software
Pipecheck 2.2 enables NDT service companies and pipeline operators to quickly
and accurately perform evaluations of pipeline degradation and remaining
service life.

GoSCAN 3D white light scanners

GoSCAN 3D white light scanners from Creaform offer user-friendly
operation and the ability to scan objects in full colour. While the GoSCAN 50
is designed to measure medium to larger parts and offers optimal flexibility,
the GoSCAN 20 delivers maximum resolution and is ideal for smaller objects with
intricate details, making it the perfect companion for 3D printers.

VXmodel

Creaform has also introduced the new VXmodel scan-to-computer-aided
design (CAD) and scan to print software integrating directly into the in-built
3D software platform, VXelements. With the VXmodel, users have all the tools
they need to prepare their 3D scan files for CAD or 3D print solutions in one
easy-to-master, intuitive application.
