The next phase of Rockwell Automation’s Automation University event is about to kick-off, visiting South Australia, Victoria, and New Zealand.
The June and July schedule follows-on from the successful tour of regional and capital city locations throughout Queensland and New South Wales earlier in the year.
Automation University’s complimentary hands-on workshops offer the chance to work directly with products and software that form part of the Rockwell Automation’s Integrated Architecture approach for plant-wide control and information systems.
“Automation University brings the opportunity to learn about Integrated Architecture to several regional centres, as well as capital cities,” said Ross Vaughan, marketing communications manager for Rockwell Automation. “Participants find it’s a great opportunity to roll-up their sleeves and get hands-on experience working directly with products during each of the two-hour labs.”
The concurrent streams of hands-on workshops are run by Rockwell Automation specialists, focussing on different aspects of the Logix multi-disciplinary control platform, such as safety and process control, along with an introduction to a selection of the FactoryTalk integrated production software suite.
