Rockwell Automation on the Move to open in Melbourne

The "Rockwell Automation on the Move" event in Melbourne will provide industry with a showcase of technology, products and services.

The two day event commences in Melbourne on 6 March 2012 with the participation of the Greg Combet, Minister for Industry and Innovation and Climate Change and Energy Efficiency.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see and hear about best industry practices, new technologies, products and services and talk to industry experts in the areas of automation, process control and safety solutions. The event will showcase a combination of ‘hands on’ lab sessions and presentations from industry specialists.

"Rockwell Automation on the Move" will feature a Safety Automation Forum —‘an event within an event’ — highlighting industry automation safety and process control applications. The Forum will showcase machine process and electrical safety techniques from industry experts.

The exhibition features more than 1,400 square metres of display space plus an additional three lecture rooms for presentations and interactive workshops.

Key areas to be presented will include the Rockwell Automation integrated architecture solution for network connectivity, PlantPAx, power solutions, intelligent motor controls, software applications and Service & Solutions information kiosks.

The free two-day event will be touring Australia, with the first at the Melbourne Park Function Centre on 6 March, 2012. Attendees will be offered free parking at the Melbourne venue.

"Rockwell Automation on the Move" will then progress to Sydney (2-3 May), Brisbane (22-23 May) and Perth (6-7 June).
