The newly-released Eyecheck series from Eye Vision Technology offers a combination of smart camera and evaluation and processing software, called EyeVision. The lens is integrated into the camera’s housing and the user is able to choose from various resolutions, ranging from 782 x 485 pixels to 1280 x 1024 pixels.
According to the company, the systems can be used for robot positioning and object detection. They can also be used for custom-made solutions for position correction and can be mounted onto some robots (such as articulated robots). Furthermore, there is the possibility to use the systems for code reading, colour and surface inspection as well as commands for measuring objects.
