PSN Melbourne to support project in the Russian Artic

Production Services Network (PSN) has recently secured two contracts with Shell and ExxonMobil to manage the engineering requirements of the oil and gas developments in the Sakhalin Islands, in the Artic Russian territory north of Japan. A considerable amount of project management and support for this project will be conducted out of the Victorian office, leadingn to the creation of a considerable number of new engineering jobs in Melbourne.

PSN is a Scottish/global firm; it was established last year through a management buyout from KBR Halliburton and they are the major engineering contractor for all Esso’s Bass Strait oil and gas operations. PSN employs around 500 people in Victoria.

The Hon Peter Batchelor MP with local PSN Director, Dave Irvine, will be making the announcement of the new jobs on Wednesday 1 August at a lunchtime event at the Immigration Museum in Flinders St in Melbourne.
