Profibus EXPO in Perth to showcase products and solutions

The Profibus Association of Australia (PAA) and the Profibus International Competence Centre (PICC) are holding a Profibus EXPO in Perth on 10 November.

The Profibus ‘One for all’ Technical Forum and Exhibition is an annual event where PAA members showcase their products and solutions in an interactive environment, demonstrating the power of Profibus at all levels of the plant.

The free event at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre will see a number of industry experts sharing their views and knowledge on recent fieldbus developments, future trends and local applications of the technology in the Mining, Food and Water/Wastewater industries.

UK trainer Andy Verwer will be at this year’s EXPO speaking about the important steps involved in designing automation and control systems and the potential pitfalls.

He will also present practical demonstrations on the performance monitoring tools ProfiTrace and COMbricks.

Due to the high level of interest for this free one day event, the PAA has implemented a reserve seating policy.

Reserve seating for the Technology Forum can be obtained through online registration.

According to PAA Chairman Rafael Koenig, there has been accelerated growth of Profibus in the Mining, Food and Water/Wastewater industries across the country in recent years.
