Key decision makers within both groups reacted favourably to this collaboration, describing it as a logical step forward for two complementary industry groups seeking similar operational outcomes for the process control and automation sector.

Profibus Australia believes the agreement will facilitate widespread awareness for fieldbus technology in the country's engineering community. Also, PACE will now have access to high-quality case studies and can draw upon non-partisan technical content from Profibus Australia's local and international resources.

"Many of our readers readers would welcome more Australian applications and case studies that present leading technologies in a local perspective," remarked Kevin Gomez, Editor, PACE.
