Linak has released the LA14 Actuator, a compact actuator for the company'sTechLine range.
The LA14 is characterised by its robust design, with heavy duty aluminium housing, allowing the actuator to be used in harsh environments, with full exposure to weather.
Seen as the “stronger twin” of the LA12, the LA14's features include; Exchangeable power and signal cables up to 5m long; Suitable in ambient temperatures of -400C to +850C and available with potentiometer for stroke lengths up to 99mm.
The LA14 promises to meet a number of current challenges in many industries today. It is a suitable solution for a variety of applications that may face extreme conditions both indoors and outdoors.
It has been designed with a heavy duty aluminium motor housing and special surface treatment, expected to handle tough environments and has a galvanized or stainless steel piston rod eye.
With water ingress often a concern on outdoor applications, this actuator has an IP protection rating of IP66 (dynamic) and IP69 static high pressure wash down.
The LA14 is suitable for mobile “off-highway” equipment such as agricultural, forestry and construction machinery. It can push up to 750N and has standard stroke lengths ranging from 40mm to 130mm.
