Paqworks have merged with Madison Technologies, a supplier of communication infrastructure solutions.
The Australian importer of solutions for Industrial Data Communication and Video CCTV applications says the addition to Madison creates a new Australia-wide source of robust voice, data and video communications solutions for industrial applications.
Commenting on the addition of PAQWORKS to its industrial division, Madison Technologies Managing Director, David Redfern, said “Combining our extensive range of specialty data and IT cabling solutions with PAQWORKS communications and networking experience benefits everyone from designers to contractors and end users.”
“With our combined experience and product range, we eliminate any guesswork and risk,” he added.
“By providing proven integrated communications solutions we make it easier for designers and specifiers, simplify installation for contractors and provide reliable on-going performance for the end user.”
PAQWORKS Managing Director Manny Romero shares Mr Redferns sentiments. “We are delighted to be part of the Madison team,” he said.
“Together, we can now implement industry-specific integrated communications solutions that provide reliable, secure performance in even the harshest of environments,” he said. “Using ruggedised cables, connectors and purpose-designed switches and routers, we can tailor integrated communications solutions for voice, data, video, and instrumentation or control applications.”
“For customers in the mining and processing industries, we can not only take care of all fixed and horizontal cabling, we can also integrate any number of industrial communications devices to transport, manipulate and manage data all the way to its final application,” added Mr Romero.
“Our IP CCTV solutions will also be of great interest, with CCTV becoming a vital component on industrial sites, providing operators with an online view of critical plant operations. Upgraded security requirements for critical infrastructure and OH&S concerns are also driving uptake of CCTV,” he said.
“IP Digital Network Cameras take CCTV to a new level, substantially improving performance and significantly reducing installation costs,” he added.
This extension to Madison’s product portfolio of data communications and security/monitoring solutions will complement brands like Garland, Optimal, R&M and Belden.
Madison Technologies has sales offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Perth and Dubai and distributes through a nationwide network of more than 900 electrical wholesalers.
