CHRIST Water Technologies (CWT), EIMCO Water Technologies (EWT) and EWT’s American counterpart Enviroquip have merged to form Ovivo.
EWT is a leading worldwide provider of technological, high-performance, economical solutions of water treatment, recycling and purification.
CWT has experience in the ultrapure water market, and the two entities provide a specialist staff force of more than 2,400 globally.
Ovivo was officially launched globally from 13 September 2010. It claims it is dedicated to bringing to the market the latest thinking, proven technologies and the most advanced application of knowledge in the industry.
The company says the change to the global group name and the realignment of vision and values will provide it with an opportunity to move forward as the demand for clean water, for process water and for water treatment increases.
Ovivo will also look to add the extraction of energy from water and in water reuse solutions to its portfolio of core technologies.
