Outotec has appointed a new director to look after the company’s minerals processing projects and services; Jason King will bring more than 20 years of national and international engineering and mining project management experience to the role.
King’s new role as director — projects, services and after sales for Outotec’s local minerals processing business will include managing all aspects of the group’s projects, services and after sales business.
King has stepped into the new role from his previous duties as global manager, minerals processing services.
According to a press notice from Outotec, King’s appointment reflects the importance the company places on delivering strong technical support and outstanding service to its customers.
“Jason King’s outstanding experience ideally equips him to lead teams and ensure customers derive maximum value from their Outotec technologies,” said Outotec Australia managing director, Neil Jagger.
King has spent the past five years heading Outotec’s Minerals Processing Service Centre in Australia and the past two years also responsible globally for Outotec’s minerals processing service centres.
