ifm efector introduces a new camera system designed for effective operating and rear area monitoring when using mobile machines.
Operating and rear area monitoring is becoming increasingly important in the field of mobile machines with the camera solution required to deliver universal and trouble-free use even in extremely difficult conditions.
ifm efector’s new O2M camera system features an encapsulated, weather-proof aluminium housing with IP68/ IP69K rating in addition to temperature-controlled lens heating. Offering high shock and vibration resistance, the camera system holds E4 type approval and is fitted with an analogue video output. Suitable for universal use, the O2M pressure-resistant camera system features automatic brightness adjustment and light sensitivity of < 0.25 lux.
The O2M camera system can be directly connected to the PDM360 dialogue modules with graphics capabilities, colour display and analogue interface, enabling use of the dialogue module to not only display machine information but also images from up to two cameras. This also eliminates the need for a separate monitor.
O2M comes with a wide selection of flexible mounting accessories to provide universal installation and application options.
