Norfolk Group wins $17.5 million Rio Tinto work

Norfolk Group has won a five year $17.5 million contract with Rio Tinto for electrical and engineering installation services.

The work includes high voltage reticulation and support services at Rio’s Brockman mine in the Pilbara.

It forms part of Rio’s larger Pilbara expansion program, which the company approved $3.1 billion for earlier this year.

Norfolk said up to 70 of its staff would work on the Brockman mine and the initial contract was expected to be completed by the end of August.
