Non-contact linear inductive sensors

Bestech Australia introduces the new LR series non-contact linear inductive sensors designed to fill the gap in the factory automation marketplace.

The new LRx-19 and LRx-27 series non-contact linear inductive sensors find application in custom assembly equipment, UAV aircraft, test stands for aerospace, automotive and medical equipment, valve, actuator or cylinder position, wind energy, and solar PV manufacturing.

Conventionally, linear potentiometers are used in most factory automation applications typically due to the higher cost of available advanced technologies.

Key advantages of the new LR series linear position sensors include non-contact measurement; cost equivalent to potentiometers; excellent stroke to length ratio compared to LVDTs with LR-19 series only requiring about an additional 1.5” in length beyond the stroke; SenSet zero and full scale easily field settable; and minimum 5VDC operation.

The LR series linear position sensors feature 19mm and 27mm outer diameter; axial/radial connector or cable options; rod eye ends (radial only); and 4 analogue outputs (3 voltage and one current).
