Camfil Farr Australia announces a new touch screen controller designed to provide full monitoring and control of all functions of industrial dust collection equipment.
Supplied by Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC), the new controller is equipped with a touch screen interface that allows easy and ready access to all of its functions. Designed for use with Farr Gold Series dust collectors, or any type of collector integrated with a motor starter or variable frequency drive (VFD) package, the touch screen controller uses a built-in differential pressure sensor to monitor the primary filter pressure drop.
Four analogue inputs are used to monitor the secondary filter as well as the leak detectors, flow meters and compressed air pressure monitors. Six digital inputs are also included to monitor functions such as hopper level, smoke detection and remote cleaning among others.
Four relay outputs will signal faults from any of the digital or analogue inputs or from internal device faults. The 4-20 milliamp output will remotely monitor air flow or pass through any analogue input to a remote location.
Camfil’s controller can also monitor fan power consumption, and provide data logging of system performance with multi-language capability.
