New Siemens vice president for industrial automation and drives

Siemens has appointed a new vice president for its industrial automation, drive technologies and industry solutions businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

In his new role, David Keenan will focus on aligning Siemens’ business with the growing needs of the industrial market, according to the company.

Keenan has experience in commercial and technical support leadership roles in the mining, logistics and technology industries, including roles at companies such as Daimler Australia and Caterpillar.

Keenan’s official title will be vice president in industrial automation, drive technologies, and industry solutions for Australia and New Zealand.

Siemens chairman and managing director, Albert Goller, said he was pleased to welcome Keenan as he brings with him a wealth of customer-orientated international experience and technical expertise to the Siemens team.

“Mr Keenan’s broad understanding of service and support, commercial business functions, and his skills in asset management, makes him a valuable senior team member at Siemens in the Pacific Cluster,” said Goller.

Keenan also has experience in supplying industrial solutions for the water industry.
