New-look National Manufacturing Week 2010 coming to Sydney

National Manufacturing Week (NMW) will experience a make-over when it arrives in Sydney from 11—14 May 2010; the new-look exhibition will be organised into ‘product zones’ to help punters find the industry sector they need.

Hosted by Reed Exhibitions, NMW 2010 will offer seminars on topical themes including engineering best practice, and utlilising Australia’s slim window of advantage coming out of the downturn ahead of the rest of the world.

NMW 2010 will take place at Sydney Olympic Park, for the first time, and organisers expect the event to attract over 11,000 trade visitors and 350 exhibitors.

“Australia’s manufacturing sector has weathered the downturn, and is now expanding again – suggesting we have a lead on the rest of the world that could yield real opportunities in 2010,” said Reed Exhibitions exhibition manager, Paul Baker.

“Reed Exhibitions intends that NMW2010 will help industry leverage these opportunities by — more than ever — acting as a hub through which manufacturers, suppliers and customers can get actionable ideas for their businesses.”
