New dezineforce CEO to continue plug-and-play success

Engineering design simulation and optimisation software provider, dezineforce, has appointment a new CEO to take over from outgoing CEO, Dr Peter Collins, who will assume his role as commercial director and will continue to serve on the board.

George Shanks comes to dezineforce will over 25 years of experience in the industry, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the role, according to a press release from the company.

In his new role, Shanks will support the company’s recently-launched plug-and-play appliance version of its on-demand cloud-based engineering design optimisation and decision support suite.

According to dezineforce, this product launch has created significant opportunities in both new and existing markets by giving engineering companies an alternative, on-site way of accessing the capabilities of the dezineforce solution.

Shanks was responsible for co-founding Rubus, an internet consultancy company, in 1998, and helped the company grow from initial start-up to over 300 people in just over two years. Most recently he was CEO of JacobsRimell, a company he led to growth and profit over a four-year period, culminating in the successful sale of the company to a public industry player.
