Madison Technologies has appointed a new Queensland business development manager for the Industrial IT & Communications group — David Bird will bring 25 years of industry experience to the role.
Bird will be providing solutions using brands including Moxa, Westermo, Mobotix and Cybertec.
Bird has 25 years experience in the IT and communications industry, and most recently was the national sales manager for an unnamed large industrial communications distributer.
He has been actively involved with various technologies including wireless, ethernet, fibre, microwave and satellite communications systems, says Madison.
“As the Industrial world adopts more and more IT business solutions, David’s experience will be instrumental in helping customers face the challenge of integrating IT and Industrial systems,” says a spokesperson for the company.
Madison Technologies recently acquired data communications and networking hardware supplier, Paqworks.
