The work of ten electrical and communications contractors was recognised at the National Electrical and Communications Association (NECA) NSW Excellence Awards announced at Star City in Sydney on 25 September.
A range of world-class electrical and communications installations were represented, from a smart-wired designer home to the Department of Defence Joint Operations Command Centre, and the new Woolcock Institute for the study of sleep disorders to an upgrade for the Emu Plains Railway Station.
The award-winners offered innovative and environmentally efficient design and clever use of technology that continues to set international benchmarks for the electrotechnology industry, said NECA.
“As the electrotechnology industry’s peak body, NECA is proud to showcase the outstanding achievements of our member organisations,” said NECA NSW CEO, Lindsay Le Compte.
“These peer awards acknowledge the exceptional quality of the projects completed during the last twelve months and the important contribution these organisations make to our industry in the development of business and project management systems, environment and sustainability, occupational health and safety, employment and training.
“The awards set these companies apart, giving them a competitive advantage in a challenging economic environment. We congratulate each of the winners.”
