Moxa Connectivity designed a tiny embedded device server offering sophisticated network connectivity with minimal integration for manufacturers. The resulting MiiNePort E1 embedded device server is a thumb-size solution for embedded serial-to-ethernet needs. It is powered by the MiiNe, Moxa’s second-generation SoC (system-on-chip), which supports 10/100 Mbps ethernet, up to 921.6 Kbps serial baudrate, a versatile selection of ready-to-use operation modes, and requires only a small amount of power.
By incorporating Moxa’s own NetEZ technology, the MiiNePort E1 is designed to convert any device with a standard serial interface to an ethernet-enabled device, quickly and easily. In addition, the MiiNePort E1 is the size of an RJ45 connector, making it easy to fit into virtually any serial device.
The MiiNe is Moxa’s second generation SoC, and is now one of the world’s tiniest embedded device servers, with very low power consumption.
