Mining special interest group launching in Pokolbin

Kinetic Information Systems has organised a series of free Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings designed to keep mining services companies such as project engineering and equipment vending companies abreast of current accounting and business issues in the mining sector.

The first SIG will take place in Pokolbin in New South Wales on 27 November 2009; the event will be in the style of a forum on the topic ‘Integrated Business Solutions for the Mining Services Industry’.

The inaugural function will host speakers from PriceWaterhouseCoopers(PwC) and Valley Longwall International — Conveyor Division. Delegates from both companies will speak on job costing systems that have positively impacted on the efficiency of their mining operations.

Companies that attend the event will be given the opportunity to enter the draw to win a free PwC Pink Slip Three Day System Review.

The event will take place from 9am—1:30pm on 27 November at Lindemans Vineyard, 106 McDonalds Road, Pokolbin NSW 2320 Australia.
