MEP Instruments releases new particle size and shape analyser

MEP Instruments introduces an enhanced version of the proven CAMSIZER
system for the determination of particle size and particle shape using dynamic
image analysis.

Based on the unique dual camera technology, the new generation CAMSIZER
P4 particle size and shape analyser offers improved performance and extended

Key enhancements include faster cameras with higher resolution, stronger
light source and new software features, resulting in even faster measurements
and an extended measuring range. The improved resolution allows more precise
measurements of particle size and particle shape (20 μm – 30mm), particularly
of small particles.

The CAMSIZER P4 features revised hardware and software. The improved software
offers additional evaluation possibilities, such as separate storage of all particle
images in a database or three-dimensional display of measurement results as
scatter plots (3D cloud). The 3D display of measurement parameters enables easy
evaluation of particle morphology. New shape parameters for roundness and
sphericity allow for optimised shape characterisation.

Proven functions such as the certified calibration standard, the automated
air flow in the measurement zone, and the motorised funnel height adjustment
have been retained in the CAMSIZER P4 particle.

Retsch Technology’s optical particle characterisation instruments are
available from 0.3 micron to 30mm.

The full range of Retsch instruments and Retsch Certified Support is
available in Australia and New Zealand at MEP Instruments, a Metrohm and Anton
Paar Company.
