Emerson’s CSI 2140 Machinery Health Analyser has been certified for Class II, Division 2, Groups (F, G). This makes it the only portable vibration analyser on the market that can be used in hazardous combustible dust environments, the company claims.
The product can provide an early indication of bearing and gearbox defects before they can lead to machine outages. Furthermore, its PeakVue signal processing methodology cuts through the complexity of machinery analysis to provide a simple indication of equipment health.
The analyser’s certification covers a range of industries from grain processing, food production, chemical manufacturing, recycling facilities and coal-fired power plants.
