More than 120 instrumentation, control and process engineering specialists descended on the IICA’s metro Tech Expo held at the Penrith Panthers club rooms in Penrith.
A who’s who of automation, control, test and measurement specialist were present including Phoenix Contact, SICK, Vega, Treotham, Dwyer, AMS, Omron, Techrentals, ifm, and Eaton to name a few.
NSW IICA chairman Peter Veron was very pleased with the attendance and the various amounts of technology on display.
“The IICA conduct various activities across Australia during each year to promote members and their services,” said Veron. “One such activity are technology expos, where members are able to display their latest innovations and instruments which they have available to industry. This is designed to increase productivity and efficiencies in manufacturing plants. These low cost informal opportunities are very popular with our members and industry and the latest was held this week at Penrith Panthers Leagues Club.”
There was room for 50 exhibitors, with an additional four companies on a wait list due to space constraints, and a total of 127 registered visitors and 12 walk-ins making this one of the most successful events held.
