Largest ever Oil & Gas Expo kicks-off next week in Perth

The Australasian Oil & Gas Expo (AOG) is just over a week away and is set to be the largest conference of its kind for the oil and gas industry in the Southern Hemisphere, according to event organisers Diversified Exhibitions.

Kicking off at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre from 24 to 26 March, AOG 2010 will offer industry unprecedented access to the latest product, service, research, education and inspiration to infiltrate the oil and gas market in Australia, the organisers claim.

“AOG 2010 is brimming with all the latest and greatest that the industry has to offer — senior managers, engineers, consultants, procurement professionals and contractors would be well advised to take the time to visit the expo to ensure they remain competitive and up-to-date in this lucrative market,” said AOG exhibition director, Bill Hare.

The event will bring together more than 500 international and local exhibitors including Woodside, Well Ops, GE Oil & Gas, DOF Subsea, Expro, University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Energy Industry Council (UK), Scottish Development International, Technip and Van Oord.

“AOG continues to grow in terms of exhibitor numbers and exhibitor caliber — the 2010 exhibitor list reads like a who’s who of the oil and gas world and we anticipate some serious business dealings onsite over the three days of the event. Where else can you access more than 500 companies covering the entire spectrum of the industry, under the one roof,” Hare said.

AOG 2010 will herald the scope of innovation taking place in the local Western Australian market with a dedicated Innovation Zone featuring in the foyer of Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. Housing a range of products and projects in custom made pods; the Innovation Zone is a celebration of the advanced development taking place in WA, says Diversified.
