Kemppi and ABB Robotics will jointly develop fully equipped robotic welding packages.
Kemppi Oy, which is the parent company of Kemppi Australia, is a welding solution provider operating globally.
ABB indicated the “technologically innovative” welding packages would be designed as modular, cost-effective projects for companies to easily install or to upgrade into a robotic welding system.
The joint business covers Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.
Kemppi equipment will be featured at all certified ABB Robotics welding lab locations, so customers will be able to conduct robotic welding trials on the latest robotic welding equipment available. The co-operation is non-exclusive.
ABB FlexArc robotic welding cells are complete robot systems available in several flexible and versatile standard modular packages.
The KempArc welding system automation range provides flexible configuration. It can be tailored to meet many specific welding applications.
The range is especially designed for automated MIG/MAG welding. There are two power classes available, namely the 350 and 450 amp.
Each power source offers a wide variety of welding curves for Pulse or Synergic MIG/MAG welding, and ensures quick and easy set-up in a busy industry.
Plus, Wise welding processes for automation products offer additional choice and solutions. These can meet challenging welding applications to help ensure that welding requirements are covered both now and into the future.
