InMotion moves into the NZ and South American markets

Brisbane-based InMotion Engineering extends its international reach into New Zealand and South America with the deployment of a new Sales and Accounts Manager who will be based in Auckland.

The appointment of Mr Paul Merkel as New Zealand National Account Manager marks InMotion’s first foray into New Zealand since the company merged with the well-known Mercer group in 2007.

InMotion Managing Director Neil O’Hare said Mr Merkel would help the company make significant inroads into the New Zealand marketplace, and to its growing presence in South America. He was previously employed with Mercer.

“Paul has moved across from Mercer as a result of the recent merger and his extensive experience and industry expertise will be a great asset to the introduction of InMotion products in New Zealand,” he said.

“I’m confident that with Paul at the helm he will spark business interest in InMotion products from those who know of Mercer’s history and work in New Zealand.”

“Paul brings to InMotion a variety of skills and experiences with an extensive background in electronics design, simulation defence systems and IT.

“His expertise and local contacts in the industry will be integral to the success of InMotion in the New Zealand and South American markets.”
