Industrial Scientific’s business operations recently went live in its newly-leased office space at Port Melbourne, Victoria.
The company is a provider of gas detection products and services and claims to have experienced significant growth over the last decade. Space shortages soon became a challenge at the previously occupied Sydney location, where the company resided since 2005.
The 250 square metre space, located along the ship channel in Port Melbourne, now serves as Industrial Scientific’s Australian and New Zealand head office. The new office is utilised by various functions, including but not limited to, portable and fixed gas detection, training, service and rental, and iNet Fulfillment which is a team that supports the growth of iNet – Gas Detection as a Service.

Industrial Scientific was incorporated in 1996 to more effectively serve the Australian market while working to preserve human life on, above and below the earth. The new space not only increases Industrial Scientific’s ability to serve its customers, but enables the company to gain a better understanding of the local market and how to address their specific gas detection needs.
