ICP Electronics Australia has expanded their fieldbus solutions range
for industrial control and automation applications.
ICP’s fieldbus solutions product line now includes a range of fieldbus
products based on different protocols. In addition to Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU
and Modbus ASCII, these products comprehensively cover the majority of
industrial communications protocols such as CAN Bus, CANopen, DeviceNet, J1939,
PROFIBUS, PROFINET, HART, EtherCat, Ethernet/IP and BACnet/IP.
The new fieldbus range also includes a rich selection of gateways, converters
and remote I/O solutions. For PROFIBUS, ICP offers isolated repeaters, PROFIBUS
to fibre converters, PROFIBUS to serial converters and PROFIBUS to Ethernet converters.
The gateway range includes PROFIBUS gateways to Modbus RTU/TCP/ASCII and
PROFIBUS to HART.
For multiple I/O applications, the range offers a family of remote I/O
units in 1, 2, 4 and 8-slot configurations to support various I/O functions. In
discrete I/O modules there is a selection of DIN Rail mount digital and analogue
I/O modules, including dry contact, relay, thermocouple, and current output.
ICP also offers a large number of user-friendly libraries and
development tools based on VB, VC, BCB, Delphi, VB.Net and C#.Net. InduSoft,
LabVIEW and DASYLab drivers are provided for SCADA applications.
Protection mechanisms such as galvanic isolation, photocoupler isolation,
reverse polarity protection, over voltage protection, and EMI, ESD, EFT and
surge protection are built into the hardware for use in harsh environments.
Manufactured by ICP DAS, all fieldbus products feature
-25°C to +75°C operating temperature range and offer broad DC power support (unregulated
+10 to +30/40VDC).
