ICP Electronics Australia announces the new USB-2000 Series of I/O modules
from ICP DAS designed for laboratory research, testing and field applications.
Powered by the PC USB port allowing a single cable to supply power and
carry data, the USB modules can be used to easily build highly flexible
PC-based control solutions to acquire or output data.
The USB-2000 Series IO modules feature a dual watchdog to monitor the
operation of the module and issue a reset command in the event of a failure in
the hardware or software. The modules can be configured with a Power On Value,
or a Safe Value, with some having individual channel LED indicators to help
monitor the status of I/O ports.
Key features of USB-2000 Series I/O modules include ability to operate
in harsh environments of -25°C to +75°C; 4KV ESD protection; up to 3750 VDC intra-module
isolation; available with different configurations of digital I/O, analogue I/O
and pulse I/O; USB I/O utility and SDK provided with each module; and true
Plug-and-Play operation with support for hot-swapping.
