Honeywell Process Solutions, UOP and Callidus businesses are hosting mining and LNG seminars for customers in Perth on Wednesday 23 September – Friday 25 September.
The events will cover challenges, issues and solutions in the mining and LNG industry, with sessions being led by key industry experts from Honeywell complemented with guest speakers from PricewaterhouseCoopers and Vulnerability Assessment Group.
Seminar 1. Operational Readiness for LNG
Wednesday 23 September, 2009 8.00am — 4.30pm
Encompassing an agenda of presentations, discussions and networking, Operational Readiness for LNG will focus on a number of issues affecting the LNG industry, including the simulation of assets through the entire lifecycle, the challenges faced with mega projects, supply chain management and the convergence of security in major facilities. The program also includes a presentation by Bill Bent, Director Advisory for PricewaterhouseCoopers on Operational Excellence in LNG.
Seminar 2. Green, Lean and Safe
Thursday 24 September, 2009 9.30am — 5.00pm
Honeywell is presenting two forums in one day on topical subjects for Western Australian businesses: “Carbon and Energy Management” and “Emerging Best Practices in Project Execution”. The sessions will raise important questions about what the greenhouse gas policy trends will mean for Australia and help you understand the reporting obligations and potential pitfalls – and how you can address them in a way that make sense for your business.
Seminar 3. Gas Processing Technologies by UOP and Flare Systems by Callidus
Friday 25 September, 2009 9.00am — 3.30pm
UOP, now part of Honeywell, are leaders in hydrocarbon processing technology and are hosting a session on a range of Gas Treatment technology options, with special commentary around application to gas treatment for LNG plants.
Callidus, now part of Honeywell, are experts flare systems design and will present on the application of flare technology, with special emphasis on LNG related applications.
The seminars are free to attend and open to Honeywell clients and industry professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge in these subjects.
